Daysy is a free app for iPhone and iPad that digitizes your PECS sheets and binders, facilitates schedules, first-then steps, as well as basic communication. Daysy's primary goal is a straight-forward, simple design and set up that is quick and easy for both individuals and their caregiving team! With high demand for digital PECS replacements and AAC applications, there is little to no comparable solution on the market. Get Daysy for free on the App Store today!
Daysy's WebsiteRover RideShare offers safe, community driven, and affordable rides exclusively for students. Built by students, for students, Rover connects you with your peers for a seamless transportation experience. Community-driven, personalized service that’s designed to be cheaper and safer than traditional rideshare options. All powered by students from your campus. Rover is available now in beta, while we’re developing the full app experience.
Rover's WebsiteAs a UI/UX Designer at App Team Carolina, I worked to help design Bubbly for iPad. This is an iPad game consisting of targeted brain training exercises to help improve vision in children and adolescents with Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI), a disorder that is caused by damage to the parts of the brain that process vision, which disrupts the brain's communication with the eyes. Bubbly and its team has recieved praise from individuals and teachers around the globe.
View on the App Store!CH Transit is a public transportation app designed for the town of Chapel Hill. The original app was challenging to navigate and lacked intuitive functionality, so I redesigned it from the ground up with extensive feedback from local students. The redesign includes revamped interfaces for features like route details, stop information, and alerts, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience. Created entirely in Figma, this redesign focuses on accessibility and usability. You can explore the new design screens and learn more about the process below.

Case Study (2023) Figma PrototypeConnectCarolina is the all-in-one website for students, parents, and staff to manage everything from class registration to payroll at UNC Chapel Hill. Known for its challenging user experience, the website often frustrates and confuses its users. My partial redesign tackled these issues head-on, introducing improvements to navigation and usability while maintaining essential functionality. I designed and iterated on this project with the feedback of students and parents that regularly use ConnectCarolina. This project emphasizes a more accessible and intuitive experience, with a focus on user feedback throughout the process. See my designs and the current ConnectCarolina website below.
